Our state-of-the-art, vehicle safety systems calibration centers, located in San Diego Ca are looking for a career-minded, energetic person to join our team.

To ensure success in this position:

· Passion to work with vehicle technology, in a lab environment, with computers, measurements, and angles.

· In addition, organization and precision are essential skillsets

· Ultimately, this position requires an individual who can understand the importance of this job: Verifying all vehicle safety systems operate as engineered…to protect people’s lives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsibly test drive (safety system function verification) and deliver vehicles
  • Ability to follow standardized calibration and diagnostic process
  • Accounts for all vehicles on the lot, ensuring damage prevention
  • Keeps the facility clean and tidy
  • Customer  service focused, ability to develop relationships and deliver operational consistency
  • Monitors Calibration Center appointment schedule to facilitate timely pick-up and delivery
  • Troubleshoot complex calibration repairs
  • Basic knowledge of how to remove and install vehicle parts - Example: Bumper, trim panels, mirrors
  • Accountable for assigned equipment (including vehicles, mobile devices, laptops, OE scan tools, VCI, other equipment provided)
  • Complete assigned training and certification

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Post-secondary education, automotive-related, is a plus
  • Ability to assume responsibility for the valuable property of customers and the Calibration Center 
  • Possesses an organized and process-driven mindset in completing  job responsibilities
  • Willing to learn and to perform a wide range of allocated tasks
  • Ability to complete accurate accounting of vehicle systems and functionalities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills a must
  • Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, stooping and lifting up to 50 pounds.
